Bottle from Rewe Frankfurt drunk on the train to Bamberg. Can’t believe I have never had this before. I am sure I have seen this in the UK mind you it will be fresher and cheaper here. Gold clear lasting white head. It’s an ok German pils some decent lemon noble hop bite on the finish. It’s got a bit more noble ho pthan the other bottled beer I have had today. That lovely perfumed essence on the finish. Altogether a classier beef with better ingredients. I liked it. I mean actively liked it. Good.

Bottle from Cork & Cask. Murky golden body with a pillowy off-white head. Lively carbonation. Thick lacing marks. Aroma of peach, white pepper and coriander seeds. Flavour of metal and orange pith. Medium body with a creamy texture. Soft fizz. A quality Hefeweizen.

Bottle @ Greg’s palace, courtesy of readbaron. Excited for these hefewhales, Pours a cloudy yellow orange appearance with a white head. Classical big banana, clove, vanilla, light citrusy, big yeasty aroma. Delicious fruity yeasty, wheat, lemon, bubblegum, big banana flavor with a bit of tartness on the finish and maybe a hint of metal. Excellent.

33c bottle from Bon Voyage, Berlin. Pours clear pale golden with a white head. Moderate malty aroma with notes of grass and hints of f honey and herbs. Moderate sweet with a quite decent bitterness. Medium body with fairly average carbonation. Quite decent German pilsner.

Clear pale golden colour, small fizzy white head, quickly diminishing. Aroma pilsner malt, grain, hay. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, grain, grassy hops, iron notes. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, dry sweetbitter aftertaste, light citrus peel, some cardboard, well-made but nothing special.

Clear pale gold beer with a small white head. Light dry palate. Minerals. Dry pale malt. Light floral notes and paper. Some trace of citric hops in the crispy minerally finish. Not too far from being a decent beer, just a tad too much paper.
