Bottle, The Den, Kalamazoo. Hazy amber colour, medium white head. Aroma of flowery and fruity hops. Flavour has fruity hops, lemonade, grapefruit, sweet malts. Slightly bitter and dry finish. Nice IPA.

2007 bottle. Pours copper, beige head. Aroma was heavily malty and sugary. Taste, sweet, caramel, brown sugar, dark fruits, malts with some light roastiness. Light apple finish, overall mouthfeel has plenty of warming alcohol.

Pours light amber into a Tulip. Rocky off-white micro head with excellent retention. Sweet pine and resin aromas. Sweet caramel upfront and creamy with a subdued orange citrus, hop and alcohol finish. More like a mild imperial pale ale.

Bottle from Once Upon a Vine - South on 01/31/2009. Very clear copper amber body with a medium frothy tan head. Sweet floral hop and caramel fruit aroma. Sweet fruit flavor, some caramel, and a bit of floral hops in the background. Medium full body with moderate carbonation.

A golden ale with a thin white creamy white. A lightly spoiled aroma, caramel and herbal notes. In mouth, a grainy crisp malt, nutty and oily mouth feel. Medium bodied. On tap at MSP Rock Bottom location, Jan 24 2009.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. Has a malty caramel aroma with some hoppy hints. Sweetish malty hoppy flavor with some caramel hints. Has a sweetish malty hoppy finish.

Bottle. Thin-headed and orange, this beer’s aromas are like a fruit basket of citrusy hops. Pineapple and grapefruit are the main draws (maybe mango?), but I can pick out some sweet caramel like malt in the background. Hops are a punch to the face as soon as liquid hits lips... and they are sharper than in the nose. Grapefruit and pine come out strong at first, but then malt and sweeter fruits pick up the trail and manage to drive this home. Finish is kind of boozy with quite a bit of pineapple sweetness. This is pretty good, but it is very sweet...

Pour is a clear orange with a soapy white head. Aroma is big time citrus and pine? Check. Flavor is again a strong hop with a huge sweetness that follows. After the swallow there is a nice pine resin left on the tounge and some alcohol is felt the more you drink of it. Still a decent beer and will cure your hop jones.
