Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from Cigarette City. Appearance is dark brown with finger-width light brown foamy head with fair retention and fair lacing. Aroma is strong cocoa. Taste is strong sweet milk chocolate with light bitter ending. Palate is medium bodied with smooth, thick texture, average carbonation and mix of sweet and bitter finish. Overall, it certainly scores high on the chocolate front and if it tasted like this without cacao nibs I’d give it higher marks, but it is pretty much a one-trick pony without any complexity. Good dessert beer.

Ravfarget klar med fingerhøyt beige skum. Masse humle i lukt. Grapefrukt, sitrus og kommer også noe maltig lukt mot karamell og kaffe. Middels minus i fylde. Bitterheten er middels kraftig. Grape, sitrusskall og noe melon. Middels lang.

(Bottle, 0.355 l - BB May 21 2017, from Alko, 20161125) The beer poured deep amber and clear. Its head was quite large, white and it lasted long. Aroma had pine, berries and caramel. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were pine, berries, caramel, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A rather unpleasant hoppy pale ale. Weird berriness.

A dark, brown beer, a head is medium and blond. Aroma has caramel malts, pine, only hint of citrusfruits. Taste has caramel, medium bitterness, low fruitness. Quite sweet. Medium bodied. Fruitness and freshness are disappeared.

Tap bowsers. Pale with a thin scummy head. Beery clean smell. First taste is some ill ale attributes with a unique unidentifiable fruit bitter background. Sometimes fruit or peach is undefinable but I guess its there. Not bad but was hoping of something a little more tart or sweet. yes, the medium bitter hopping is quite apparent on the finish. Overall, does hide high alky rating fairly well.

Minnesota Trip Beer #245. Keg at Rock Bottom Minneapolis Airport, 5/14/16. Clear golden, thin fizzy off-white head, good retention. Aroma of pale malt and muddled orange. The taste is orange zest, orange, pale malt. Medium bodied, mild lingering bitterness, kinda flat.

Sample at Daily Growler UA. Clear brownish-amber color with a medium thin off-white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Strings of lacing. Aroma of roast malt, caramel and fruit. Medium body with flavors of caramel malt, fruit and touch of hops. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.
