Bottle at Googies Folkestone. Hazy amber colour lasting cream head over carbonated some red fruit and resin on aroma . It’s a decent ipa. Some fresh red fruits and some dankness. It’s fine. Get rid of the carbonation. Yes decent. Got better as the glass went down. Fresh .

The alcohol is quite prominent in the aroma for a relatively low alcohol beer, but there’s plenty else besides, including mocha, pine needles, apricot and musk. Roasted malt and a little coffee combine with the pine and grapefruit in the mouth. It’s got a nice length and a pleasant, lingering bitterness. A well-crafted black IPA.

@Kirribili Hotel, Sydney. Hazy light amber. Medium head. Bright tropical fruit notes. Sweetish in a honeyish way, with more of the mandarin orange and mango notes. Moderate bitterness. Good, bright, balanced IPA.
