Cask. Deep golden colour with a small white fluffy head. Aroma is citrus fruits, some slight floral and grassy notes with also some crisp maltyness. Flavour is sweet and quite crispy malts along with some mild fruity and floral notes. Mild wooden and resiny notes as well when the beers warms up a bit.

Cask at the Grape and Grain Autumn beer festival 2011, Crystal Palace. Golden/amber pour with a white head. Lots of fruit in the nose particularly pear. Light malty flavour with a fruity edge. Light bitter finish.

Cask at St Albans beer festival 2011. An amber coloured pour with a small fluffy white head on top. Hopy, fruity aroma. Tastes hoppy, malty, caramel, bitter. Not bad.

(Cask at Cask Pub & Kitchen, Pimlico, London, 22 July 2011) Pale amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty nose with apricots, bread and slightly dusty hops. Malty taste with notes of toast, apricots and a mild citrussy bitterness in the finish. Light body, quite dry. Decent and quite drinkable.

(Cask at Southampton Arms, Kentish Town, London, 21 July 2011) Dark brown colour with brief, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with dark bread, ryvita, raisins and spices (nutmeg, cinnamon?). Malty taste with notes of caramel, dark bread and a mild, slightly spicy, bitterness in the finish. Rather light body, quite dry. Decent mild ale.

Cask (handpump) @ CASK Pub & Kitchen, 6 Charlwood Street, London, Greater London, England SW1V 2EE.Clear medium red amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, fruity, spicy, toffee notes, christmas cake notes ! Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20101231]

330ml bottle. Pours a hazy, bright red with a thin head. Aroma is tart and sweet coriander. Taste has a little raspberry jelly to start. Coriander in the finish. Tart and dry.

330ml bottle. Pours black with a medium head. Aroma is salty, roast malt and a little gravy. Taste is salty throughout with some roast malt and soy on the finish. Low carbonation and very smooth.

330ml bottle. Pours light gold with no head. Aroma is a bit of vinegar and a little cheesy champagne. Taste has grass and straw with a slight sour touch. Better then a macro but still a bit boring.
