Cask at PoW, Farnborough. Is there an aroma? Dark brown. Thin beige head. Bitter but with an odd tang to it. Berries and vanilla coffee. Medium bodied. Slick mouth. Creamy long aftertaste. Odd. The taste just doesn’t work for me.

Bottle from a bottle shop in Whitstable. Poured a hazy reddish amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is yeast, big raspberry. The flavour is moderate sour with a dry crisp, acidic citrus, raspberry palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. A little one dimensional as the raspberry really dominates, but fairly drinkable all the same.

Cask at The Claret. It pours clear golden with a medium white head. The aroma is fresh, tropical fruits, pineapple, straw, grass and piss. The taste is crisp, clean, bitter, fresh tropical fruits, peach, pineapple, orange peel, grass and pissy hops with a dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Flavoursome, balanced and highly drinkable. Great stuff.
