Bottle shared at the pre GBBF chriso’s tasting day 2 07/08/2016. Thanks to Colin for this one. A reddy mahogany brown coloured pour with a loose tan head. Aroma is nutty brown bread, malt loaf, earthy hop, pine. Flavour is composed of mint, brown bread, sugars, thin, slightly mineral. Palate is thin, sugary, mineral, blood. Ok. Not much of a black ipa.

500ml bottle (gift) - Clear golden body, solid white head. Nose is toffee, caramel, butterscotch, a little citrus. Taste is slightly bitter, robust fruitiness, little metallic tang at the end. Decent.

Bottle shared with the family, Streatham, London (cheers Colin) (26/08/2016) - yellow pour with a white head. Aroma and taste is light apricot fruity, wheaty, light floral nuances throughout, fruity spice, fruity hop finish.

500ml bottle.Golden colour with a short-lived white foam head. Aroma of apple, woody. Taste is apple, fruity, bittersweet with a hint of honey, some vinegar, oak and funky notes. Medium bodied, low carbonation, balanced oaky finish. Quite drinkable.

500ml bottle. Sparkling golden colour with a shiort-lived white foam head. Aroma of fruity apple, alittle vinegar, oak and funk. Taste is tart apple, fruity, apple skin, with woody oak, vanilla, some rubbery funk and drying tannins. Light to medium bodied, medium carbonation, dry sourish tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.

500ml bottle (part of a gift set) - Clear yellow body, thin white head. Nose is soft citrus, a bit of grassiness. Taste is fairly refreshing, sweet citrus kick at the front, soft flowery bitterness on the way out. Very pleasant.
