Unit 7 Enterprise Park Piddlehinton, Dorchester, DT2 7UA, England
Description
NOTE:-
The brewery originally traded as 'Dorset Piddle' then dropped the 'Dorset' in 2014.
Beers produced since 2017 do not carry 'Dorset' in the name, with one exception, the Rogue but this follows Piddle instead of preceding it.
As such beers in the Brewver database carry the name 'Dorset Piddle - ' on the beers that went out of production after the 2014 rebranding.
This wasn't the cleanest or quickest transition and there were still beers being produced in 2015/16 with Dorset on the label.
With a name like Piddle, you’d think we don’t take anything seriously. Dictionary definitions of piddle vary. Some list it only as a verb; a synonym for wasting time, as in ‘piddling about’. British dictionaries also list it as a noun, as in “I need a piddle”. It’s lucky that we don’t take anything too seriously.
But, we do – just one thing – and that’s the beer that we make and love. Our passion is blending hops, barley and malts in to create ales that bring serious pleasure, from delicate thirst-quenchers to thick, velvety stouts. A mix made in heaven – or in as in our case Piddlehinton in deepest Dorset.

500ml bottle (as No. 1 Dorset Lager): BB Sep 2019. Poured into a tall 'Cobra' badged glass at home, just after mid-night, 3rd May 2019. Clear and clean golden body, thin white head. Refreshing and thirst quenching (been working behind a bar at a beer festival all evening), crisp hop feel to the brew, yet there is a strong malty presence also. One of the best UK brewed Pilsner Beers I have had.
