500 ml bottle. Purchased from https://tankmuseumshop.org/collections/food-drink . The ABV is 4.3%. Deep golden colour, a marginal haziness. Moderate white head. Aroma of malts, jam / marmalade, ripe and over-ripe yellow fruits. The flavour is first moderately malty, mid between dry and sweet, then fruity, earthy and piney hops take over, ending in a fairly distinct bitterness.

500 ml clear bottle, as \"The Tank Museum Centurion (Cider)\" - needs to be alias'ed. However, the rear label states that this is \"Centurion Ciddle Middle Cider\", made by Piddle Brewery for The Tank Museum. The ABV is 4.5%. Purchased from https://tankmuseumshop.org/collections/food-drink . Clear golden colour, pours sparkling with a short-lived white head. Carbonation in the mouth is moderate. Pleasant aroma and flavour of cider apples, oak, tannins and sulphites. Medium sweet. Might well buy again.

Bottle at Castaway restaurant, Swanage. Fruity/berry aroma with a sugaryness to it. Amber. Thin bubbly off-white head. Light-medium bitter. Spice. Peppery. Malts and grain. Some sour fruit hints underneath. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average carbonation. Long astringent finish. Fine.

29/1/2020. Cask at the 13th Colchester Winter Ale Festival. Pours clear dark amber brown with a bubbly off-white head. Aroma of sweet malt, hops, fruit, touch of brown sugar and biscuit. Medium plus sweetness, light to moderate bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Finish is earthy, sweet and caramel. Best Piddle I’ve had.

Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Best of the Dorset Piddle beers I've had.

Bottle from Wine Yard, Swanage. Aroma of black coffee and berries with a dose of malt. Dark and glossy. Thick foamy tan head. The taste matches the aroma - initial medium bitter with a tangy sour berry edge. Into the finish you get the malts coming through. Light. Watery. Fizzy carbonation. Dry quietly astringent finish. Just doesn't quite do for me. Competent enough but that's it.
