2025 Gold Wax Version
A- Dark brown color, dark liquid, no head.
A- Brownie batter, vanilla, mild bourbon.
F- Dark chocolate, mild bourbon, vanilla, faint espresso.
T- Full body, slightly oily texture, average carbonation, balanced finish.
O- Lots of brownie batter on the nose and palate with the bourbon barrel helping to cut the sweetness but really not standing out. This was good and blended well but I wanted a touch more complexity to it. Not too hot or sweet or anything. Really good but felt just short of expectations for me but maybe I overhyped it.
2025 Gold Wax Version

Bottle at home. Dark brown color, red glare when held into the light, small beige head. Aroma is malts, brown malts, lightly sticky caramelized sugars. Flavor is similar: pleasantly sweet with brown candy sugars. Softly some sweetish spices in the background, I'm rubbish at distinguishing between them but it tastes to me like a winter-ish-spice. Quite nice this one. I like it.

Bottled cellared since the release. Black with deep brown head that fades quickly. Chocolate and smoke aroma. Flavor is roast and slight tequila. Sweetness is pronounced on the back half. Chocolate powder in the back end of the flavor as it warmed.

The flavour is moderate bitter, with a crisp, yeasty, light herbal, grassy, aromatic floral, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with lively carbonation.
