Hazy straw blond colour with fluffy head. Aroma and flavour are wheaty and have orange zest. Also a light fruity hop bitterness. Some tropical fruits.

Draft at Malt in Fossa, Sogliano al Rubicone, Italy. Pours classic gold with a very high head of white foam, very fine too. Aroma is unusual, almost recalling truffle. Not pleasant to me. Body and carbonation are average. Taste is moderate in both sweetness and bitterness. Finish is average.

0,05l from tap at Bastian Contrario Parma. Dark yellow hazy colour, small white head. Smells peppery, lychee, kiwi, light melon. Ok smell. Light body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. Tastes rather peppery, rather old hoppy, light veggies, citrus. Finishes medium bitter with notes of pepper, old hops and some citrus. BB 02/2019. orange hazy color, rather big white head. smells doughy, peppery, spices, floral, musty, some fruit notes, bit yeasty, grassy, herbal. nice smell overall. medium to full body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes grassy, herbal, leathery, spices, bit peppery, earthy, tyhme, light citrus. finishes rather bitter with notes of spices, thyme and leathery notes. decent one, lots better than from tap. rather heavy on the spices and the thyme notes. rather drinkable but I am also not a fan of the balance. Overall refreshing. 7, 4, 7, 3, 13

Il gusto al naso resta catturato dall'orzo. L'intensità olfattiva è normale e la costanza olfattiva è sufficiente. Il manto birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma dalla buona tenuta ed è persistente. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido è di aspetto trasparente. Bollicine fini costituiscono la forma del perlage. Il colore è giallo ambrato. Il corpo è leggero e scorrevole. L'amaro è poco incisivo. L'intensità gustativa è normale. La continuità gustativa è sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali sono di facile beva. Il finale è semplice e dissetante. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. Sulla lingua si fermano indizi di caramello, miele e cereali, nonché verdure cotte e untuose.

Draft at Craft Beer Festival Forlì, Italy. Pours brilliant amber with creamy whitish foam, very fine. Aroma is intense aromatic, piney, caramel. Body is fairly dense with average carbonation. Taste is consistent with aroma and quite bitter. Limited sweetness, if any. Finish is long and bitter.

All'olfatto si esprimono sentori di agrumato, resinoso e pepe nero. L'intensità olfattiva è normale e il modo in cui permane è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma cremosa ha una buona tenuta, persistente e voluminosa. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana media. La carbonazione è eccessiva. Il piano sottostante è di apparenza offuscata e la carbonazione è frizzante e vivace. Il colore è giallo dorato carico. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è carico. L'intensità gustativa è elevata. La costanza gustativa è buona. Il gusto è piacevole per una birra parecchio gassata. Le sensazioni boccali che permangono sono luppolate. Il finale è amarognolo. Il retrogusto è intenso. Al gusto vengono donati toni di luppolo, resina, pino, agrumi e pompelmo.

Tap at Il Ponto Bologna. A very nice ale in west coast fashion. Moorish bitterness and butch hops.

Draft glass @ “Italian Beer Week-end #6 - Ranzani 13 Édition” CML Fontainas. Hazy bright orange golden, creamy white head. Nose is massive soap plus grain, overly sweet. Taste is overly sweet overly bit soap, grain, bread, sugar. Body is soapy grain. Far too much soap in here, nope.

Draft glass @ “Italian Beer Week-end #6 - Ranzani 13 Édition” CML Fontainas. I am not hugely familiar with the style but this one seemed quite unusual but I rather liked it. Darker orange than expected white head. Mildly sweet nose toffee, caramel, sugar, sweet bread. Taste is easy simple mildly sweet toffee, caramel, butterscotch, pastry. Body is slick toffee. Mild & easy sweet, rather nice.
