Description
Created in 2003 by Christophe and Alexia Noyon, the Brasserie Artisanale des 2 Caps, when it started, had a dual vocation: that of giving a new economic dimension to the small family farm to make it sustainable and that of maintaining the remarkable built heritage, that constitutes the Ferme de Belle Dalle.

Thanks to the work and passion of the men and women who compose it, it now has real know-how, which has been rewarded multiple times in competitions. Over the years, the quality and finesse of its beers have attracted a growing number of palates in search of authenticity.

Bottle, 75cl, corked. It pours a clear, golden body and a small, off-white head and some lacings. It is quite sugary on the nose, fruity and with a hint of spices. A bit sweet and sugary on the palate too, medium bodied and with a pleasant level of carbonation. Fruity and sweet flavor with a hint of bitterness towards the end. Well, I’m not sure it’s the perfect beer to have with a slice of cheese, but it ain’t bad either. 110722

Bottle, 75cl corked. An unclear, dark amber to brown beer with a minimal sized off-white to dark light beige head. It’s malty on the nose, with caramel and dried fruits, Quite fruity and hoppy on the nose. Something similar to licorice or coffee too. Dry on the palate with pleasant carbonation and something roasted in the flavor. Not as licorice-ish as the aroma. Dry, roasted finish with a touch of alcohol. A quite nice one, I’m sure it goes well as a Christmas beer. 110722

Huge coarse white head. Hazy pale yellow body with fast vigourous carbonation. Chalky herbal oranges aroma with honey notes. Dry herbal fruity coriander taste with chalky notes. Light body. Soft, silky mouthfeel, except for the rather sharp fizz. Dryish herbal honey aftertaste with coriander notes. Quite elegant and delicate. Nice. (0.33l bottle, beermerchants.com.)
