22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, no bottle dating. Pours slightly hazy orange amber color witha nice 2 finger dense light khaki head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice soapy lacing clings to the glass. Aromas of apple, grapefruit, orange rind, caramel, floral, grass, and herbal spiciness. Ok aromas, but they aren’t very hoppy for an IPA; kind of weak as well. Taste of grapefruit, pine, caramel, toast, orange rind, floral, grass, bread, and herbal spiciness. Good amount of bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, caramel, pine, bread, and herbal spiciness on the finish for a good bit. Good balance of flavors; good bitterness/sweetness balance as well. No cloying flavors at all. Medium carbonation and body; with a creamy and fairly crisp mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with only a slight warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a good IPA. Good flavor balance; very smooth and crisp to drink. Enjoyable stuff for sure.

Opaque black pour with a tall, creamy, long lasting tan head. Coffee, cocoa, dark roast malts in the aroma. Sweet and roasty flavor. Some licorice in the finish. Bitterness is minimal. Smooth body, creamy.

Clear amber-gold pour with a medium fluffy white head that evaporates slowly. Sticky rings of lacing. Aroma of sweet fruit and malt. Medium body with a sweet stone fruit character that can only be Paw Paw (which I have only tasted via Ohio beers) along with some yeast and bready malt. The finish is sweet with a lingering slightly tart fruit aftertaste. Decent overall.

22oz bomber from Herchick poured into a Schlafly Tulip glass. Thanks Bob! Pours a slightly cloudy dark orange with a huge amount of off-white head. Aroma of a lot of pine and citrus with just a touch of caramel. Taste is heavily bitter. Pine resin with some citrus on the back end. Medium bodied with a slick texture. Lively carbonation and a long bitter finish. Overall, great! I would love to drink this again.

22oz bottle-pours a retaining tight tan head and mahogany color. Aroma is resin, sweet dark malt-roasty/chocolate. Taste is biting hops, medium malt-peat/cocoa. The biting initially has some metallic which fades.

This beer pours a clear orange color with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of toasted malt and hops. Medium body with flavors of grassy hops, bready malt and caramel. The finish is spiced hops and sweet malt. Decent all around.

Bomber from bittermestupid. Thanks Greg! Pours copper with a slight beige head. Aromas of citrus and somewhat roasted malt. Med+ body. Flavor is light pitted fruit, citrus and a background roast caramel. This is living up to 80 IBUs. Finishes with a dry, hop burn. A very good IPA.

This beer pours a hazy dark amber color with a medium foamy off-white head that diminishes slowly to a film. Patchy lacing on the glass. Aroma of dark fruits and caramel malt. Full-bodied and smooth with flavors of mildly spicy yeast, ripe fruit, malt and caramel. The finish is sweetly spiced with a lingering fruity and malty aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

This brew pours black with a medium dark tan head that diminishes slowly to a film. Rings of lacing on the glass. Notes of burnt malt, coffee and caramel in the nose. Medium body with a roasty character and flavors of malt, black coffee and fruity hops. The finish is moderately dry with a lingering coffee aftertaste. Solid beer all around.

Bottle 22fl.oz. @ home.[ Courtesy of Secret Summer Santa ]. Clear medium to dark orange colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, pale malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, grass, orange - citrus, flowers, dark citrus, some fruity ? maybe light apricot. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and heavy bitter with a long duration, dry dry. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20111015]
