Bottle from Systembolaget. Light chestnut in colour and a small white head. Malty aroma, reminds of a amber ale.

Bottle: Poured an amber color beer with a medium size foamy head with average retention and minimal lacing. Taste of light caramel malt with light sweetness. Taste is somewhat bland with some light caramel malt with some light sweet note also noticeable. Body is about average with some good carbonation. Chestnuts are impossible to detect and again not sure what they would have provided.

330 ml bottle. Fresh caramel aroma with some nutty aspects. Copper color with no head. Thin to medium body with mild carbonation. Flavor is caramel with a strong woody flavor. Guess that’s chestnut. The woodiness balances the sweetness rather well. Finish is rather dry, and the woodiness fills in for bitter. This is a strong flavor. Very different. Almost smoky.

Hazy pale golden with medium white head. Sweet fruity aroma with lemon, spices and wheat notes. Flavor goes same way and is packed with coriander. Unbalanced....

(33cl bottle) Cloudy, light-orange colour with a short foamy white head. Sweet, slightly yeasty and wheaty nose with light citrus-fruity and spicy touch. Light-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Yeasty, restrained wheaty and slightly citrousy taste with distinctive spicy herbal notes (ginger); moderately sweet, spicy and herbal finish (28.03.08).

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy yellow with a dense white head. Dry and herbal aroma. Flavour is soft herbal to malty, somewhat strange flavoured. Ends mellow wheat-like with a slight annis far into the finish. Too herbal and spiced for my liking.
