Description
The Birrificio Rurale was born in 2009 from the idea of five beer enthusiasts who wanted to find the agricultural origins of beer in an area with a strong rural vocation. in mid-2012 we started planning to move. At the beginning of 2013, we started production in our new brewery, after more than three years of work and gaining experience, we decided to continue on our path by moving to a place that would allow us to manage the growing demand with greater control. Definitely less romantic than the previous premises, the new headquarters in Desio is much more functional and will allow us to offer you an increasingly constant and quality product.

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. It pours a slightly unclear, dark brown body with a reddish hue. A thin, dense layer of dark beige bubbles on top. Roasted, coffee aroma with a little touch of prunes and toffee. Slightly buttery, but not at an annoying level. Coffee, toffee and bitterness in the flavor, some bitterness towards the end. Medium body, dry. A decent beer indeed, but nothing superb. Drinks easily and tastes good, along with some chocolate it would be very nice I guess. 110319

Decent bitterness, pinecones and citrus peel. Some maltyness. Medium lenght finish with citrusy bitterness and some malty notes. A quite nice one, drinks easily and has some quenching qualities. Far from bad, not wonderful. 110219

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a cloudy deep golden with a tight off-white head. Distinctly skewed British hops - damm you really have to be a Briton to dig those... Medium body, some exotic fruit accents, nuts and phenols. Fairly hoppy finish with a little late ashes. 100910
