Description
The Birrificio Rurale was born in 2009 from the idea of five beer enthusiasts who wanted to find the agricultural origins of beer in an area with a strong rural vocation. in mid-2012 we started planning to move. At the beginning of 2013, we started production in our new brewery, after more than three years of work and gaining experience, we decided to continue on our path by moving to a place that would allow us to manage the growing demand with greater control. Definitely less romantic than the previous premises, the new headquarters in Desio is much more functional and will allow us to offer you an increasingly constant and quality product.

Slightly hazy pale yellow color, good creamy white head, lace. Light fruity hoppyness in the nose. Light to medium-bodied. Sweetish exotic fruityness in the front, then nice hop bite in the aftertaste. Easy to drink.

Tap @Ma Che Siete Venuti A Fa
Dark brown color, good brownish head. Woody hoppy, a bit toasted aroma. Medium-bodied. Grassy, piney hoppyness, toasted, slightly sweet malty base. Sweetish black ipa, but very enjoyable with good malt profile.

Tap @Ma Che Siete Venuti
Hazy yellow color, small white head. Fruity, sweetish, lemonade like aroma. Light-bodied. Wheaty, flowery spicey, elderberry is the closest which comes to my mind. Light palate, but it is good for this kind of summer drink.

Draft at Ma Che in Roma. Pours lightly hazy yellow with a fine, white cream head. Nice spices in here, some creamy wheat, dry lemon. Lovely balance. Light bodied with average carbonation. Clean and dry to finish with crisp lemon, light sweet wheat bread, faint spices and dough. Very solid.

Glass on tap a week ago, short lived white head. Pale yellow color, hazed, quiet nose. Aroma is corn with cereals, grainy, with citrus and a hint of spice and yeast, can’t remember about hops. Taste is rather flat, acidic dry finish, carbonated, light bodied. A bit weeak but refreshing.

Shaker glass at sinisternoise, Rome. Dark brown color, thick creamy beige head, intense nose of fruits raisins and hops. Aroma if tropical fruits, grapefruit, citrus, come caramel, lots of roasted malts and interesting american hops. Earthy, possibly yeast. Nice taste curve from the initial caramel sweetness to the hoppy bitter finish. Medium to full body, soft carbonation, dry finish. My first black IPA, nice experience.

24/10/2013 Mad For Beer (tap). Corpo medio, carbonazione medio-bassa. Buona.
