Pours pale yellow into a bowl. Bright white head quickly recedes to hug rim. Lactic lemon sour patch aromas. Sharp and tart upfront turning to a lasting marshmallow brett finish.

Avery Sourfest ’10 - flemish red? - nope - decent sour ale? - yup - pours a dark brown with a red raspberry sort of tint to it - subdued but nice sourness to it, so it’s probably good I had this one first, before the palate-destroying sourness of the other beers - very mild fruit skin and pit, as well as moderate funkiness - medium acidity - cherry and raspberry sweetness on the back end temper this stuff - nothing amazing, but quite solid.

Bottled 750 ml at Beer Hunters
My first beer from this brewery. Hazy orange color, small white head. Sweetish peach aroma with light white pepper note. Foamy carbonation. Ginger, cinnamon, bretta and mint in the flavor. Very spicey Saison. Not very Belgian.

Bottle, 3.1%. Mildly tart CO2 aroma. Cloudy pale yellow colour. Small frothy chalk white head. The flavour has a nice lactic tarness. There seems to be a little paper or cardboard, but the beer is actually a good example of a Berliner Weisse. Good and refreshing for a Berliner Weisse, but unfortunately I do not care much for the style.

Light aroma of babyfood banana and lemon grass. Cloudy amber, thick head, good lacing. Candy sugar, peaches, and just a hint of funk, lemongrass finish. There’s a bitterness that doesn’t work. Easy to drink, low key saison.
