Aus der Flasche (bottled 15.08.2024) im 2026-08 getrunken. Diese braunrote Ale überezugt sofort mit einer wunderbaren Himbeer-Aromen. Es erinnert an ein 'Rote Grütze'-Dessert. Die Säure ist recht leicht und umgänglich. Der Körper ist recht kräftig und sorgt für einen wunderbaren langen Abgang. Ein wunderbares Bier!

4 oz draft. Aroma’s lightly floral with the boysenberries. It’s interesting. The boysenberry’s lightly tart and it shows a mild hint of oak. Very soft salinity after the sip. Awesome balance. Pretty nice!

Vintage 2016. Ten years old American Lambic beer. Bottle from smakpiwa.pl (now is: onemorebeer.pl) many years ago. Coz tu mamy kwiatowo-rumiankowa nute zapachowa. W smaku lawendowo cytrynowa kwasno-zywiczna nuta z chmielnym goryczkowym i wytrawnym podkreceniem, dosc mocnym. Nie za wielka piana, ale to normalka w lambickach. Zlocista poczatkowo klarowna barwa, potem po dolaniu metna, o jasno piaskowym odcieniu, na koniec pigwa podkresla kwasnosc i wytrawnosc spontanicznego piwa. Serwowane do klasycznego polskiego objadu ze schabowym, ziemniaczkami i surowka z czarnej rzepy.

Appearance: clear copper color with a finger's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: passion fruit sweet and tart character up front; slight funky to basement-like tones; sweet grass and light lemony tones in the middle with some sweet to tart oak-like scents too; good lacto tones in there too
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a fine funky sweet to tart to sour quality: finishes tart and sweet with the passion fruit notes in front of the lemony tones
Texture: light to medium bodied, good sipper; light smoothness but also with some tart to sour abrasiveness
Overall: nicely done passion fruited sour/tart ale I would welcome again.
