Bomber bought at Super 1 in Rathdrum, ID. Aroma starts out with clovey phenols briefly before grapefruity hops take over and quickly dominate the nose; after it warms up in the glass, I get pepper, caramel malt. Pours hazy orange-gold with a two finger off-white head with good retention, leaving lace that sheets the glass. Taste is very much a citrusy IPA with the creamy mouthfeel of a wheat ale. Bittersweet with a lingering bitter finish. Not bad.

On Tap at the Boise BP Clear dark redish brown with a wispy light tan ring. Malty sweet aroma. Not much Cherry up front. Lightly sour brown, a touch of Cherry and a fairly dry finish. An easy "sour" to get to know. Tasty

On Tap at the Boise BP Clear mahogany with a small but fine and creamy light tan head. Sturdy sheets of lacing. Aroma of brown sugar and cinnamon, gingerbread and other "holiday" spices. Malty flavor with more of the juniper and pine notes here. Fairly bitter, and nicely balanced. Not over done in any area. Very nice spiced ale. Not usually a fan of these but this is good.

On Tap at the Boise BP -Nitro- Very big roasty aroma Lots of soft campfire notes and bitter chocolate. More woody roasted flavors, light bodied and a nice soft palate. Quite "oaty" in this way. Doesn’t taste or feel like it is nearly %7

12 oz. bottle, pours a murky dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma is certainly wintery, with notes of toffee, caramel, slight spicy hops, and vanilla. Flavour brings out wonderful toffee sweetness, with just enough spiciness to balance, along with a touch of vanilla. A big malty winter warmer here with everything in perfect balance, maintaining extremely high drinkability. Really well-executed here - excellent.

Bomber. This is a pleasant beer. Pours a clear copper color with a medium white head. The aroma is light biscuit and big citrus. The flavor is deep fruit, lemon especially, some resin, a bit of caramel and toasted malts. Very clean and good.

On tap at the great Portland Holiday Ale Festival. Pours a clear brown color with a medium tan head. A light spicy nose. The flavor is pine, spices, cinnamon, cocoa, light heat, a bit of brown ale. Finishes with more pine. Good.

Slightly hazy golden and very light copper coloured body with a nice, two centimetre tall just off-white head. Aroma of bright citrus, piney and grapefruity hops with a nice malt backbone, some mild sugars and a pungent alcohol note. Medium-bodied; Strong hop flavours throughout with a very nice malt balance, some light sweetness and a piney and herbal finish. Aftertaste shows a relatively nice complexity with a ton of hop varieties and a good yeast flavour at the very end. Overall, a nice balanced PNW IPA that shows well from beginning to end - great to sample fresh! I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased yesterday from Whole Foods in Portland (Pearl), Oregon on 06-December-2013 for US$4.99 sampled in my hotel room here in Portland on 07-December-2013.

On Tap at the Boise BP Clear redish amber with a small tan head. Light amber woody aromas and a caramle light smoke flavor. Definitely a "beginner" smoke, but smart for 10B to get folks into it. Tasty and balanced.
