Sample at the taproom. The beer pours a clear pale amber-gold color with a medium thin white head that evaporates steadily to a film. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of fruit, bready malt and hops. Medium-bodied with flavors of fruit, doughy malt and mild hops. The finish is herbal yeast and fruit. Decent overall.

Sweet, herbal, spicy, caramel, hoppy scent. Sweet, weird, malty, herbal, floral, hoppy taste. Medium mouthfeel, medium bitterness. Chalky aftertaste.

On tap @ brewery. Clear dark reddish orange appearance with a thin tan head. Tangy old / brown lettuce, caramel, candy sugar, raisin aroma. Flavor has a ton of dark fruit notes like raisins and figs. Big time cola flavor. Fairly sweet. High boost. Scroll past.

On tap @ brewery. Brown appearance with a lasting brown grab. Nice lacing. Coffee, chalky roasted grains, chocolate, mild fruit in the nose. Body is kind of thin. Bitterness and sweetness are both a bit high though there isn’t much hop flavor. Kind of watery and fruity. Bleh.

On tap @ brewery. A bit hazy orangish brown appearance with a tan head and nice lacing. A fair amount of roast and cocoa in the nose. Definitely a fruity twang as well. Flavor is a little too sweet and again, there’s an almost berry like character going on. Fairly bitter. A touch of nuttiness. Not horrible but I wouldn’t order this again.
