Clear bottle thanks to Colin. It pours clear brown with a small white head. The aroma is earthy roast, wood, bark, damp soil, spicy and burnt grass. The taste is dry, bitter, earthy, tannin, leather, coffee grounds, spice and dirt with a chewy, tannic finish.. Medium body and fine carbonation. Pretty shit overall. Like licking coffee grounds. Meh.

Bottle from the brewer's own stall at Feast at Waddesdon Manor. Brown-red with no head. Thin and lightly sour with chocolate and a light roast. Tastes like low-grade homebrew.

Bottle at home, 18/05/18. Lightly hazed golden orange with a decent off white cap. Nose is earthy malts, grains, lemon rind, bitter orange, toasted bread, light spice. Taste comprises orange peel, big earthy mineral bite, straw, white peppery spice, toasted grains, biscuit malt, leafy hop bite. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close peppered with astringent hop bitterness. Mediocre for the style ... traditional English IPA ... could have gone down the English strong route when adding this but does hold some IPA characteristics.
