24/IV/25 - 33cl bottle from Mr. Hop (webshop) @ Peter’s 50th birthday party, Cabane Banane (Gent), BB: 17/XII/26 14:54, L28-24352 (2025-376) Thanks to Peter for sharing today’s beers!

Clear pale yellow beer, practically no head. Aroma: lots of banana, bubble gum, sugary impression, banana flavoured candy. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sugary, artificial, way too sweet and sugary, bleh. Don’t like.

Bottle, 75cl with a blue and pink colored wrapped label including the famous pink elephant, from AH Jan Linders. Color: Slightly hazy golden, large dense white head. Aroma: Malty, light fruity sourness. Taste: Malty with a mild, lactic-acid like, sourness. Fruity notes of pineapple and unripe peach. Medium body, lightly creamy, average carbonation. Light hoppy backbone. Interesting, but not exactly my kind of beer.

0.33 l bottle from 'Craftbeershop.com', best before November 2026. Slightly hazy, golden yellow with a medium large, frothy, stable, white head. Sweetish, quite fruity-floral, minimally dank aroma of pineapple, passion fruit and gooseberry. Gently sweet, hardly bitter, rather fruity-floral and a little dank taste of passion fruit, pineapple, gooseberry and light green pepper, followed by a short, hardly bitter finish. Thin to medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Alright!

330ml bottle. Pours a hazy copper amber with a large, frothy, long lasting, beige head that leaves sticky curtains of soapy lace. Sweet aroma of bready caramel malt, Belgian yeast, raisin, fig, red apple and clove. Sweet flavour of bready caramel malt, candi sugar, orange peel, plum, Belgian yeast and clove in a dry, slightly alcoholic finish. Medium to full body with a thick, sticky texture and soft carbonation. Nice complexity.

Tap at Delerium in the historic city of Rouen. Darker amber with a glow and a small head. Robust hoppy Belgian styled with very light bubblegum notes. Has a light malt profile and a sweetened crisp aftertaste.
