Cloudy beige; typical van steenberge nose - that yeast strain really gets on my nerves. Flavour of hops, fruit (pineapple, apricot), slight alcohol and pepper. Too much yeast and carbo.

Pale borwn. Sugary pineapple aroma. Rather full bodied, but the sweetness kills the flavour.

Dark amber, fizzy large head; bit of malt and caramel, quite some alcohol feeling, some Belgian character, but no depth.

2002-01-26, bottle, 6-4-7-3-13=33
Dark amber ale. Malt aroma. Sweet malt flavour, strong alcohol, too much liquorice taste. Palate strong, but not convincing, lacks the aroma hop. Strong, without class.
