Fra fat på Ølbaren i Elmegade: lett humlet, ikke en typisk belgisk tripel. God på smak og med en bæraktig maltkropp.

Small glass poured from tap at Schouskjelleren. One-finger, beige head, good lacing. Transparent, mahogany coloured body. Aroma of earthy malts, some distant hints of spices. The mid-sweet flavour profile brings spiced malts and dark fruits followed by a nice, plain bitter finish. Balanced, medium bodied. Good drinking with Hege and Ole Richard in Oslo, 15.09.2012.

(Draught at Ölbaren, Copenhagen, 7 July 2012) Black colour with creamy, beige head, Roasted, malty nose with notes of chocolate, dried fruit, liquorice and raisins. Malty, roasted taste with chocolate, liquorice and a soft and rounded creamy coffee character. A certain cocoa bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Very nice!

On tap at Gaasa, Oslo. Amber with a tan head. Fruity aroma with malt and caramel. Sweet and malty with caramel flavor. Fairly well balanced, some bitterness. Don’t get a very Belgian feel of it, but it’s still quite nice. (2012-08-03) --- Beer merged from original tick of Cymbopogon Tripel on 03 Aug 2012 at 21:24 - Score: 6

Tap @ Ørsted with yespr. A bit hazy, orange appearance with an off white head. Tropical fruity, pineapple, grapefruity, somewhat floral aroma that was quite nice. The flavor had notes of bubble gum, pineapple, mango, and flowers. I wish the flavor was a bit more like the aroma.
