Draft - Loght soured wheat and some chilli flake. Hazy yellow with a decent white head. Chilli flake and some tart notes. Chilli flake isn’t heat but just that type of a flavour, almost raw pepper like.

On tap at Crucible, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma is subtle, with dark fruits, candied sugar, and light burnt notes. Flavour is very dry, with burnt dark fruits, candied sugar, toffee and Belgian yeast. Complex and wonderfully layered. Very good.

On tap at Brouwer's Cafe, pours a cloudy dark reddish amber with a small white head. Aroma is rather harsh, with stone fruits, resins and some harsh chemically off-notes. Flavour is similar, with abrasive stone fruits, alcohol and some fusel notes. Anything but refined. Not a trainwreck but it's difficult to drink.

Draft pour pint at the 192 lake trail taproom. Pours a clear apple juice color with no head. Soft, corny grain aroma. Very light in flavor, grain forward, hint of apple. Middle of the line Oktoberfest for me. Drinks easy, but lacks body and flavor. Not bad.
