6.1/10 Appearance 6 Aroma 6 Flavor 6 Texture 6 Overall 6.5
On tap at Lazy Boy, pours a hazy dull orangey golden with a small off-white head. Aroma showcases the amarillo hops, with some floral notes. Flavour is pretty clean, with floral hops above anything. Just enough malt backing to provide some depth. Very ordinary, unexciting IPA.

On tap at Lazy Boy, pours a hazy copper golden with a small off-white head. Aroma and flavour has some diacetyl problems, with some malty sweetness making the palate cloying. Something wrong with this. Bad.

6.9/10 Appearance 6 Aroma 7 Flavor 7 Texture 6 Overall 7.5
On tap at Lazy Boy, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of piney and floral hops with not a lot of malt backing. Flavour is along the same lines, with piney hops upfront, some floral notes and a thin crackery malt backing. Well-balanced, even if a bit thin and unbalanced towards the hops. Very good.

7.8/10 Appearance 8 Aroma 8 Flavor 8 Texture 8 Overall 7
On tap at Lazy Boy, pours a deep dark brown / near-black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out a good mix of Belgian yeast, cocoa nibs, and a touch of whiskey. Flavour is really well-rounded, with a wonderful mix of Belgian yeast, oranges, whiskey, cocoa and roasted malt. Super cohesive and well-rounded. Excellent stuff.

5.1/10 Appearance 6 Aroma 5 Flavor 5 Texture 4 Overall 5.5
On tap at Lazy Boy, pours a hazy amber with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out toasted malt and a touch of floral hops. Flavour is kind of vegetal, with bready malt and just enough hops to be noticeable. The vegetal notes make this seem a bit off. Not too good.

On tap at Lazy Boy, pours a clear golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out floral notes and light spiciness. Flavour is the same, with spicy floral hops above all. Clean and drinkable, but pretty simple. Decent.

On tap at Lazy Boy, pours a filthy creamsicle colour with a small white head. Aroma brings out loads of pithy grapefruit, followed by raspberries. Flavour is thirst-quenching, with grapefuit pith upfront, followed by a touch of raspberries. Rather dirty but drinkable still. Decent.

Draft pour pint at the 192 lake trail taproom. Pours a nice copper orange color with a lasting bubbly head and lacing. Wonderful fresh hops aroma. Flavor has a mild toastiness, nice citrus qualities, and a big hop presence. Not too bitter though. Overall very nice imperial here. I certainly enjoyed it.

Draft pour at the 192 lake trail taproom. Pours a dark reddish color with a candy sweet aroma. Maybe some caramel candy apple. Flavor is more sweet than anything else, though the more bold rye flavor is definitely there. A little boozy towards the finish. This beer is alright. I’m not to in to rye beers or overly sweet beers, and this beer has a little bit of both. Tastes as strong as it is. Not bad, but didn’t love it either.

On tap at The Local, pours a clear bright golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of piney hops, along with floral notes and just enough crackery malt to back. Flavour is sweeter than the aroma suggests, with perfumey floral hops, and sugary sweet caramel bready malt that is too present. Not well-balanced and lacking in hops. Not the best.
