(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a clear, dark brown with a warm, reddish hue and a creamy, beige head leaving a good lacing. Fantastic aroma of fruit and roasted malt. Medium body with sweet, roasted malt and a vaguely burned edge. Discreet bitterness in the finish. Lovely indeed. 230506

(On tap) A slightly hazy pilsener golden with a creamy, off-white head. Hoppy, floral nose. Full body with a solid malt sweetness relieved by a distinct, floral, bitter hoppiness in the finish. 190506

[Draught at Købehavnske Øldage] Cloudy dark golden. Sweet and flowery with notes of banana. Mild and soft, very weizenbierlike. Low bitterness. A refreshing quaffer.

[Draught at Købehavnske Øldage] Pale brownish amber. Nutty and malty, but not much hops - all empohasis is on the malt. Lightly roasty with some dusty yeast character. Low bitterness.

Bottle. Creamy lightbrown excellent mostly lasting head. Brown colour. Surspisingly more hoppy aroma than malty, but I think tahts a good thing. Very good fruity flavor, oily palate. Not as much chocolate/cofee taste like normally in stouts.

Bottled. Reddish-golden beer with a dense white head. Mild, pleasant cherry-nose, with some malt and sweetness. The flavor is much the same, with a sweet finish that has some hop-bitterness. Pleasant and easy to drink. (060428)

Bottled 0,5 ltr
Almost opaque black color, huge tan head. Strong aroma of ashy wood, licorice, roasted malts and cold coffee, but metallic tinge drops a point or two. Medium bodied. Licorice and roasted malts dominate the flavor. Coffee and licorice in the aftertaste. Reminds me about some other Danish stout. Alcohol is quite well hidden. Balanced, tasty stout.
