(Draught at Lord Nelson, Copenhagen, 17 May 2007) Ruby red colour with off-white head. Malty nose with dried fruit, cherries and spicy hops. Malty taste with notes of dried fruit, cherries, orange marmalade and a slightly vinous, malty finish with lots of spicy hops. Medium to full body, firm mouthfeel, with very nice balance between malt and spicy hops.

Draught at Københavnske Øldage. Clear amber, brief head. Light brainy malt aroma. Fairly sweet with clean mouthfeel,l low hop rate and medium body. Some caramelly crystal malt flavour Finishes with low bitterness. A simple beer, certainly nowhere near a Maibock in style with it’s lack of malt depth. It has however some other interesting flavours, so it is not bad at all - more mislabelled.
