Medium white creamy head. Light orange body with strong carbonation. Firm, sweet, malty aroma with notes of fruit, corn, and a touch of hops. Sharpish, hoppy malty taste with earthy, fruity notes. Dry, metallic fruity aftertaste. Notes of tobacco, which may mean that the beer is a bit too old. Nice, but nothing too special. (0.5l bottle.)

50 cL bottle. Pours black with short lasting head. Aroma is roasted malts, sweetness and alcohol I sense some Cascade aroma hops. Taste is first the roasted malts, followed by sweetness and fruity hops which turns into a light bitterness. Hard to make out any of the 4 grains. Good porter, well balanced.

(Draught at Ölbaren, Copenhagen) Dark brown/amber colour, hazy, with beige head. Fruity nose with notes of ginger biscuit, cardamom and balanced hints of malt in the background. Fruity taste with chocolate, marzipan and a nice bitterness in the spicy finish. Slightly wineous with some alcohol shining through. Overall a nice and well balanced brew.

2007-11-01, draught at Lord Nelson, Copenhagen, 6-4-6-3-12=31
Beautiful brown color with red shades. Rather simple, falling in the English Strong Ale category, where the malt and caramel just try to get a bit above the surface, there is also a subtle spicy touch. Drinkable but quite plain.
2006-11-06, 7-3-7-3-14=34
Dark amber color. Some aroma of malt and caramel, with very light broth. Round malty and caramel taste, with a lot of candi sugar and light malt fruitness. Enjoyable.

Bottle. Red unclear color with a small white head. Relatively bitter. Suited for a warm summer day, not for deserts.
