Draught @ Cloudwater Beer Fest, Manchester 2019. Pours black with a creamy head. Dark fruit, caramel and bread. Smooth caramel. Dry finish. Nice.

Pours deep hazy gold into a shaker. White soapy head with little retention recedes leaving spot lacing. Sweet citrus and pine aromas. Dry and husky with dark malt and sweet sourdough upfront turning to an abrupt finish.

Pours hazy orange into a shaker. Bright white head with little retention recedes to hug rim. SweeTart and FunDip aromas? Medium bodied with dirty malt and sourdough upfront turning to bitter twigs and earth in the medium length finish.

Dark, cola-tinged dark mahogany, clear with a dark beige, grey-tinged head that is full but rapidly receding.
Not too much dark malt in the nose gives just a hint of brown bread, cola and very mild, fruity coffee. Hints of honey and light caramel from the base malt soften/balance while the yeast is very clean showing only minimal mineral character. Low hop character adds a touch of spice and herb.
In the mouth it's soft, malty, well-attenuated and showing a moderate coffee character that adds to the dry character yet contributes plentiful flavor making the beer seem richer, in concert with the base malt. Lingering pretzel, herb, spice, cola and coffee with soft honey. Mostly tight carbonation and no alcohol or flaw.
