Starkly clear, light, maize-tinted yellow with no head.
Very little nose to speak of either. Perhaps some light corn, vanilla, traces of honey and cracker?
Very waxy, with vegetal notes and a stale, old, tired character permeating. Reasonably malty and with redeeming textural value, but just rather filtered-like and old. Oxidized. Strange, given it's in a keg that has been kept cold (assumedly). Still don't know what to make of Notch these days. It's so hit or miss continually.

Pours pale gold into a shaker. Bright white head with good retention recedes to hug rim. Grass and biscuit aromas. Soft with sweet lemon meringue and pie crust front to back. Lasting bitter earth finish.

12 oz. can at The Sevens Ale House in Boston, Mass. Clear yellow pour with a white head and very good retention. Semi-crisp pils malt with a touch of citrus sweetness. Low bitterness. Good.

Dark chestnut. Medium head. Aroma is a bit nutty and with a bit of toffee. Little chewy, toffee, not bad but doesn't get to liquid bread level.

Ugly haze, not much head. Dull amber-brown. Not a good like. Smells nice, caramelly crackery malts. Sweet and with a soft caramel and just a touch of toastiness. Still something not quite right.
