Bouteille 310ml via trade with Marlos. lot# 499, BB 11-2015. Orangée trouble sur col crémeux blanc. Arôme laisse un fruité très plaisant laissant les notes typiques de Berliner citriques et aigre. Palais est délicieux avec un sour mash prenant laissant ce côté farineux accompagné d’un fruité tropical gardant une impression de purée de fruits qui tire sur l’aigre doux. Effervescence est haute sur un fini râpeux qui se combine trs bien avec le fruité qui est un peu plus sucré.

CBC Blue Session. Keg. Hazy amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, mild fine carbonation. Caramel smooth malts. Perfumey wood with touch of spice and sweetness. Trace of sweetish fruits. Light spicy dry finish. Very different to your normal Barleywine, I’m assuming the wood imparts these perfumey flavours. Tasty and interesting but I couldn’t drink loads even though the abv is reasonably well shaded.

CBC Blue Session. Keg. Hazy orange beer, big off white head. Palate is airy and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Floral sweet crystallised fruits with a trace of herb. Whisper of spice. Light dry finish. I love the fact Way often infuse their beers with the fruits, spices and woods of their beautiful country.
