Bottle. Frothy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Moderate hoppy aroma. Very flowery. Nice moderate bitter flavor. Average finish. Good palate. Actually this is a good pilsener, and the first Braunstein I might try again.

Bottled. Clear, golden beer with an off-white head. Hay, caramel-notes, grains and hops in the aroma. The flavor is mostly grain and hay. Thin bodied disappiontment. (060604)

Bottled. Clear, copper-colored, with a beige head. Malt, caramel, sweetness and some roasted notes in the aroma. Mild flavor with some alcohol, caramel and hops. Medium body and a finish with alcohol, sweetness and some hops. (060530)

A light orange-yellow beer with a lazing white head. The aroma is sweet malty with light touches of both hops and citrus. The flavor is sweet with a citrusy note, leading to a dry hoppy end. A very clean and refreshing beer.

Draft. An unclear orange beer with a lazing white head. The aroma is wheaty with a slight acidity from the wheat. The flavor is refreshing with primary notes of wheat, combined with a light touch of banana, leading to a dry wheaty end.

Draught as Braunstein Wheat. Weak or no aroma. Very cloudy yellow colour. Not very flavourful, IMO mineral water with wheat mouthfeel. Slightly spicy, but not citric or estery. Too boring.

A nut brown beer with a huge orange-brown head. The aroma is sweet bready combined with light notes of brown sugar. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, malt, and bread, leading to a subdued end where the caramel lingers for a long time.
