Burnt orange appearance. Smells really nice. Has a lot of grapefruit citrus aromas. Really good brightness in the hop category. Very Bready up front and finished with a very intense piney taste. Kind of hrs you hard and leaves a lasting bitterness.

2 finger off white head. Certainly has every characteristic of a red ale. Well, honestly itβs everything about a red ale. Malty, bitter, herbal, almost like medicine in smell. Decent mouthfeel. The bitterness and just intensity of it is challenging.

Pitch black. 2 finger espresso head. Smells exactly as described. Candy cane and vanilla. Is this real life? Sweet, lots of candy flavor with a definite coffee taste at the finish. Vanilla is subdued. Iβd say candy and mint basically dominate the flavor. Sweetness is lingering. Starts great. Smells better than it tastes.

On tap at Prohibition Pig, Waterbury, VT. Dark, cola brown. Halo of off white head. Nose has dark malts. Light roast. An earthy, cola thing going on. Taste is dryish, with some stickiness on the lips. Fairly thin bodied. Finishes much the way it starts. Ok.
