This was poured into one their half pints.
The appearance was a moderately hazy yellow color with a decent transparency about it. Carbonation could be seen rising at a moderate pace. A bar pourβs head yields barely any lacing.
The smell started off with sweet breadiness yielding some light sweet herbal qualities and a little bit of toast.
The taste copied the smell pretty much on spot. There was a slight sweet bready aftertaste running into a semi-sticky sweet finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a good sessionability about it. Carbonation ran really light.
Overall, I donβt have much experience with kellerbiers, but I liked this one for me. Iβd have again and would believe it would go well with its respected food.

Keg at Pro Pig restaurant. Pours lightly hazy gold with a creamy white head. The nose has some citrusy hops, pale bread, pine needles. Light-medium sweet flavor with some anise seed, grapefruit, tangerine, orange. Medium bodied with average carboantion. Lightly resinous on the finish, bready sugars, tangerine, low bitterness. Solid, tasty.

Keg at Pro Pig. Pours deep amber with a creamy tan head. The nose has toasted grains, brown bread, some ripe citrus, pine. Light-medium sweet flavor, more toasty and grainy bread, mild doughy brown bread, medium bodied with average carbonation and massaging carbonation. Nicely rounded toasty brown bread to finish, faint cocoa, pine. Nice beer. Very well rounded.

Draft at the brewery, 7/4/15
Dark brown color with a small head and almost no lace. Aroma is as expected with the coffee and roast. Oatmeal as well. Good roasted flavor, lightly sweet and lightly bitter. Smooth feel, a hint creamy, and decently dry. A nice beer.

Murky looking darker golden color with a heavily coated glass from the lace. Rye malts are present, but the hops come through more, with citrus, lemon, and a little pine. Flavor is similar, but gets a hint buttery on the rather dry finish. Average carbonation. Dry close.
