A group of close friends and beer lovers got together and purchased the Brew Co. in 2011 it was their mission to continue creating award winning craft brews and working to perfect the menu. Our restaurant takes pride in operating as a scratch kitchen, bringing together fresh and often locally sourced ingredients to create one of a kind dishes.
Our brewery focuses on creative and tradition English, German and American style ales and lagers. Over the years we’ve been the proud recipients of Great American Beer Festival awards for many of our beers. Our aim is to continue working toward a harmonious balance between food and beer and we think we’re doing a darn good job! So stop in, grab something to eat and try one of our beers fresh on tap!

Taster pour at Wages Brewery. Appearance is murky yellow-brown, good lacing. Aroma is grapefruit, pine, citrus. Taste as aroma. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with thick texture, average carbonation, finish mix of sweet and bitter. Overall, a fair amount of complexity here. Good stuff.

Bottle called Mayhem marzen. Pour is a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma is a decent bready malt but not much more. Flavor is a nice dry bready and crackerlike malt. A bit of toasted malt is left on the tongue. This is fine but nothing great.

Draft at the brewpub in Springfield, Missouri. Poured into a unique glass that is somewhere between a Nonic and a Willebecher. The pour is a clear golden with smallish white head that leaves behind nice coating lace. The aroma is bright citrus, tropical fruit hop and a the spicy rye. The taste is the citrus hop floral, fresh and bright, a bit of herbal and finished with mild spice rye. Nice integration of flavors. The palate is light to medium bodied with soft natural carbonation and a clean herbal finish. Solid.

Pour is a black with a small tan head. Aroma is a nice roastnwitha good amount of coffee mixed in. Flavor is again decent mix of roasted malt and coffee. The coffee is not overpowering so those not high on coffee flavor would probably enjoy this. A well made stout with a decent mix of malt and coffee.

Pour is a red-ish with a small white head. Aroms has a definate hop presence with some heavy sweet malt. Flavor is a soild hop but also a oily malt that turns out to be not as sweet as I thought it would be. Finish is a decent malt and hop combo without one overpowering the other too much. Solid hoppy amber.
