A group of close friends and beer lovers got together and purchased the Brew Co. in 2011 it was their mission to continue creating award winning craft brews and working to perfect the menu. Our restaurant takes pride in operating as a scratch kitchen, bringing together fresh and often locally sourced ingredients to create one of a kind dishes.
Our brewery focuses on creative and tradition English, German and American style ales and lagers. Over the years we’ve been the proud recipients of Great American Beer Festival awards for many of our beers. Our aim is to continue working toward a harmonious balance between food and beer and we think we’re doing a darn good job! So stop in, grab something to eat and try one of our beers fresh on tap!

Draft. Rated from my notes from our 2001 Rt. 66 tour. They had a hefeweizen when we were there, so in comparison this was of course much lighter in aspect.
There were some other style on tap when we visited, but they're not isted on the brewer's web page, so I shouldn't be adding any beers that might not have been available for two years.

Draft. Found my notes from our visit during our 2001 Rt. 66 trip, so this is a little out of date. Yet it's a fine establishment that can use a shout out here. This porter is almost stoutlike in its smoothness and color. Low bitterness when sipping, but it starts to come through in the aftertaste.

Draft. A good firm head over a respectably copper body. First impression is of mere bitterness, but after a few more sips, the floral hop character comes through. Sampled on our Route 66 trip back in 2001.

(Bottle) Fresh citric/pine hop aroma. Pale gold-amber with large rocky head. Medium body, with crisp spicy hop flavors and a nice malt presence. Clean pale malt flavor, with medium bitter finish. Be sure to drink at proper temp to get the best balance. Quaffable and quite nice - a very nice session beer for Springfieldians.
