On draught at Gallo’s. The beer is a hazy orange-amber color with a thin off-white head. Short strings of lacing on the glass. The aroma is tropical fruits with notes of sweet malt and hops. Medium body with flavors of caramel malt, citrusy hops, wheat and yeast. The finish is fruity with a sweet malt aftertaste. Falls somewhere in the realm of a Wheat Wine or Barley Wine. Above average overall.

Travis brought this one to the Memorial Day Party. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a very dark brown color with a large foamy beige head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was dry, roasty and woody. The flavor was dry, roasty and woody with notes of cola and faint vague fruit. The finish was long, dry, roasty and with lingering wood and cola. Medium body. Ok.

Pours a hazed dark reddish-brown color with a medium beige head that burns away steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt, subtle oak and a bit of fruit. Medium body with flavors of roasted coffee and malt, slight bourbon and dark fruit. The finish is slightly boozy with a malt aftertaste. Not as robust as I hoped, decent overall.

Shaker pint draft at the brewpub in Columbus, Ohio. Pour is a clear brown golden with a smallish off white head. Aroma is a touch of char roast malt, along with a hint of nutty malt. Nice fresh nose. Taste is nutty, slight roast and a mild toasted sweet maltiness. Really crisp, clean and flavorful. Palate is medium to light bodied with the soft char roast lingering nicely in the after taste. Quite smooth. Really drinkable tasty beer. Nice one.

Shaker pint draft at the brewpub in columbus, Ohio. Pour is hazed golden, light amber with a 1/2 inch white head. Decent lacing. Aroma is light orange citrus, along with grain, hint of straw and wheat. Clean. Taste is a bit less clean than the nose though the citrus hops and grain wheat are present. Initially everything was a touch disjointed, though as it warmed it cleaned up some. Palate is medium bodied, unfiltered mouth feel, clean dry finish with the straw and hops. Pretty interesting and tasty beer.
