Description

Nose is lovely. Brown sugar, toffee, apples, slight brandy, undercut with a touch of bread. Taste leads with a lot of hops befitting an American style barley wine; good herbal tones, with spice and pepper leading to a moderate resin which drops away into brown sugar, grape, a touch of cola and toffee in the finish. Mouthfeel is slick. A very nice barley wine which delivers on the premise.
