Honey sweet flavours joined by plums and apricot. Yeast fruity impact on the finish. Medium bodied. Refreshing and pleasing (hotel room, Aberdeen 12.04.2016).

330ml bottle bought at Six Degrees North. Foamy white head, some of it remaining. Lacing rings to the glassware. Next to clear golden body. Honeyed fruity nose. Flavours of lemony hops, hints of yeast to a bittersweet ending. Crispy in the mouth. Quite moreish and not diluted at all (hotel room, Aberdeen 12.04.2016).

Keg, sampler tray at Six Degrees North. Crocheted lacing from a film type layer. Hazy orange-gold coloured body. Mid-sweet fruity nose of orange and peach. Fruity flavours added by a subdued touch of spices and moments of yeasty fruitiness towards the lingering aftertaste. Very well integrated alcohol. Likable (Aberdeen 12.04.2016).

Citrus flavours including lemon and grapefruit, carefully spiced. Fruity bitterness to the ending. Fine bodied with splendid drinkability (Aberdeen 12.04.2016).

Fruity flavours of lemon and orange, hints of banana sweetness as well, lightly spiced with coriander. Mid-sweet fruity ending. Decent version of the style, quite refreshing (Aberdeen 12.04.2016).

Bottle big thanks to Lorna! It pours clear rose/pink with a small white head. The aroma is earthy, funky, fresh raspberry & cream, touch of jam, slightly woody, vanilla and some raspberry pip. The taste is crisp, tart, bright acidity, sour raspberry, raspberry pip, green apple, old fashioned lemonade, wood, jam and sherbet with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. As with the base beer it is perhaps just a touch acidic, but I can’t help but like it.

Bottle many thanks to Lorna! It pours clear gold with a small white head. The aroma is funky, brett, barnyard, oak, creamy vanilla, hay, light spice, gooseberry, sour white grape and some floral notes. The taste is crisp, tart, bright acidity, sour green apple, earthy, funky action, earthy brett, barnyard, lemon sherbet, lactic acid edge, sour peach & nectarine, kumquat, white wine, gooseberry and dry wood with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Good depth of flavour, especially for the unblended style. Perhaps a touch acidic initially, but this is a great interpretation of the style.
