First bit of football all weekend and instantly Betis take the lead vs Real Madrid! Just as I instantly love this beer!

Thanks for the scoop, Brendan. Nice car washing beer!

Really good keller. Reminds me of the Weihenstephan 1516. Really clean.

Taster pour as part of a flight at the brewery. Appearance is opaque yellow juice with no sparkle, thin cap of white head with good retention and mild lacing. Aroma is strong lemon and moderate pineapple with light herb. Taste is stronger pineapple than lemon with vanilla. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with thin, smooth texture, soft carbonation and crisp finish as taste. Overall, light and refreshing like a fruit soft/mixed drink.

Taster pour as part of a flight at the brewery. Appearance is clear yellow with trace sparkle, thin ring of white head and trace lacing. Aroma is pleasant mild smoke and yeasty, fruity lager. Taste follows the aroma with the smoke being somewhat lighter. Mouthfeel is light bodied with smooth, thin texture, soft carbonation and mostly cracker finish. Overall, good for the style--it's easy to over- or underdo the smoke but this is not overdone (may be slightly too light). Good.

Tap pour as part of flight at the brewery. Appearance is opaque yellow juice with no sparkle, thin cap of white foamy head with good retention and decent lacing. Aroma is strong scalliony savory herb with milder sweet grapefruit. Taste is strong herb as aroma with grapefruit and mild pineapple and vanilla. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth, frothy texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, a good balance of herb and sweet--decent complexity. It grew on me the more I had.

Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7

Taster pour in a flight on tap at the brewery. Appearance is opaque juicy yellow with no sparkle, thin ring of off-white head with decent retention. Aroma is little to none--vague fruit. Taste is mainly mildly bitter; some light arm pit herb and grapefruit. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with frothy texture, average carbonation and dry, mostly arm pit and bitter finish. Overall, nice enough look but the aroma is almost non existent, the flavor is not fruity as described. Not terrible but something's amiss.

Tap pour as part of flight at the brewery. Appearance is light brown-yellow with no sparkle, finger-width white, foamy head with good retention and nice lacing. Aroma is moderately strong sweet fruit and herbal. Taste is mild fruit and herb. Mouthfeel is light bodied with frothy texture, soft carbonation and crisp, dry finish. Overall, taste wasn't as bold as the aroma and a bit light bodied for a DIPA.

Tap pour in a flight at the brewery. Appearance is opaque black with no sparkle, thin cap of light brown head with fair retention and trace lacing. Aroma is roasted malt and coffee. Taste is strong bittersweet roasted malt and coffee, chocolate and mild nut. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth, frothy texture, soft-to-average carbonation and finish as taste that is more sweet than bitter. Overall, strong pretty straightforward roasted quality.
