Tap pour in a flight at the brewery. Appearance is opaque black with no sparkle, thin cap of light brown head with fair retention and trace lacing. Aroma is roasted malt and coffee. Taste is strong bittersweet roasted malt and coffee, chocolate and mild nut. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth, frothy texture, soft-to-average carbonation and finish as taste that is more sweet than bitter. Overall, strong pretty straightforward roasted quality.

Did a side by side by side with a local NH and a nationally distributed Oktoberfest. Pours a clear copper body with thin white head. Aroma of toasted grain, caramel, and weak fruitiness. Flavor of light caramel, light biscuit, and toasted grain. Body is on the thin side. Overall, very light.

No date coding on the can. Aroma shows resin, citrus, malt. Flavor has overtones of pine with a sweet malt backbone. Overall, good flavor but pretty run of the mill.

Can pour into nonic pint glass from the brewery. Appearance is heavily hazy orange-yellow with light sparkle, massive 3-finger width rocky, foamy, white head (couldn't pour whole can into glass) with good retention and fair leggy lacing. Aroma is strong with initial dominant pine over milder citrus, tropical fruits and herb, though pine dominance fades and herbal and fruit qualities rise as it warms. Taste is strong musky herb dominating sweeter stone and tropical fruits along with candied sugar, with late citrus component. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with frothy texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste with fairly dry, pleasant mildly bitter finale. Overall, quite strong all around. Nice complexity and boldness of aromas and flavors. Well done!

Got in a trade with brutalfarce. 16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned in 11/2018. Pours very hazy deep golden amber/light orange color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Dense spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/zest, wood, mint, light peppercorn/pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of huge tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/zest, wood, mint, light peppercorn/pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness. Mild pine, citrus peel/zest, herbal, floral, woody, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, orange juice, red grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, guava, berries, citrus peel/zest, wood, mint, light peppercorn/pine, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light honey/toast, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Amazing complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt flavors; with a solid malt/bitterness balance, and no cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/bready/grainy, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is fantastic. Slight lingering resins. Minimal warming alcohol for 8%. Overall this is an amazing NEDIPA! All around incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt flavors; extremely smooth and easy to drink for the ABV with the mildly bitter/drying finish. Amazingly soft feel. Feels like a lot of Mosaic, Galaxy, Motueka. Extremely juicy, vibrant, and lightly dank/earthy hops; with a perfectly balanced wheat/oat/malt backbone. Light residual sweetness with lingering dryness. A highly amazing offering, and top tier/spot on style example.

Can pour into nonic pint glass. Appearance is hazy greenish-yellow-orange-light-brown with decent sparkle, 2-finger width rocky foam head with good retention and nice sticky, soapy lacing. Aroma is strong sweet citrus and tropical fruit with light candied sugar, background cereal malt. Taste is strong tropical fruit, citrus, hint of herb. Palate is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth, thin texture, average-to-lively carbonation and mostly sweet with light bitter balance finish. Overall, despite being 4 months old (so less-than-fresh), this had strong hop aroma/flavors and fair complexity. Looking forward to trying others from this brewer.
