Can (10/30/20) pour. Appearance is cloudy yellow-orange with good amount of sparkle, 2-finger foamy white head with excellent retention and nice rings of lacing. Aroma is strong citrus and pine. Taste is strong, sweet lemony citrus balanced with danky, resiny pine with mild creamsicle. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with thick texture, average carbonation and finish as taste with very little bitterness. Overall, not the most complex or novel beer in the world but strong aroma and flavor and there's nice balance. No hint of alcohol. Enjoyable!

Can from tfontana, thanks again. Hazy lemony yellow with a huge frothy white head that slowly recedes. Citrus lemon and tropical fruits with some bready sweetness and a bit of sweet sugar.

16 oz. can in a trade with tfontana. Thanks big pimp! Aroma is pineapple and lemon. Flavor shows a good amount of fruit with table sugar. Strong floral hint in the finish that collides with the lemon. Sorry Counterweight, this is not a hop combo I can get excited for.

Can thanks to Kristy. Pours a cloudy orange yellow with medium white head leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is grass, earth, citrus. Slick body, juicy, melon, grass, light bitterness, very good.

Can (10/23/20) pour from the brewery. Appearance is opaque dark yellow-light brown with mild yeast deposits/floaties, no sparkle, finger-width off-white foamy head with fair retention and light leggy lacing. Aroma is moderate tangerine citrus with hint of herb. Taste is mix of musty/musky/cooking herb dominant over citrus. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with thick texture, soft-to-average carbonation and finish as taste over grainy malt backbone. Overall, dominated by the Amarillo, which makes me feel like Citra was used as a marketing ploy.

Can (10/29/20) pour from the brewery. Appearance is opaque dark yellow-light brown with no sparkle, finger-width off-white foamy head with fair retention and light soapy lacing. Aroma is strong citrus candy (lemon/orange mix), pink grapefruit. Both are a little too strong and have a synthetic sense to them, like a Starburst candy or an incense stick (reminds me of those shops with metallic dragon and wizard figurines displayed on black velvet, tapestries, black posters, marijuana paraphernalia in a glass case in the back, '70's music playing, etc.--if you were there, you know exactly what I'm talking about). Taste is REALLY strong pink grapefruit, bubble gum, synthetic lemony-orange citrus, along with metallic/pineapple/coconut component. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with thick, frothy texture, soft-to-lively carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, very strong aroma and flavor with complexity but a synthetic quality to the pink grapefruit/citrus/bubble gum triumvirate and the pineapple/coconut/metallic triumvirate says HBC 692 has promise but needs to be reined in.

Yellow hazy coloration. Aroma of citra, lemon, malt. Taste has hop oil, obvious blend, slightly resinous bite on top of a simple malt layer. Palate has lingering pine resin. Good.

16 oz. can in a trade with tfontana. No can date. Flavor of bolder pineapple, lime, citrus peel. Assertive bitterness in a citrus peel kind of way. It does balance the sweeter tropical fruit hints. ABV is masked. Wish I knew how old it was. Either way, well made.
Good porter. Traditional English style. Thanks B!

Pours opaque pink with a thin pink head. Aroma of raspberry and stone fruits. Taste has sour fruit, raspberries, apricot, lightly lactic. Palate has lactose on the nose, malty mouthfeel. Good!
