Description
Welcome to the official page of the Lindemans family which has been brewing lambic since 1822. The family has owned a farm since the dawn of time. It was to occupy (and refresh) the peasants in winter that we began our brewing activity. With time and success, our agricultural activities decreased as our brewery developed.
As Darwin said, functions create organs. Today, we are once again expanding our brewery to share the love of our beers beyond our borders.

One of the better gueuzes i've had until now. A bit more caramelly/honey taste added to the sour gueuze taste. --- Beer merged from original tick of Foudroyante Gueuze on 27 Sep 2020 at 19:26 - Score: 6. Original review text: Aan de zoetige kant, wat houterig, maar kachelt ook wel weer prima weg

Is this really a beer? It makes a great sparkling wine. Very fruity (peach, duh) and sweet flavor. Lively and sparkling. I hate that I liked this so much because it's such a sissy drink, but what can you do. I typically do not like fruit beers but this is a great summer drink. At $5 a bottle I could only afford to drink it one season anyway.

Tart and winey, just like a gueuze should taste. But it lacks that something extra!

I'm not a big fan off blackcurrant som my rating maybe is a bit unfair. But there's just too much blackcurrant there.

Horse-like aroma. Extremly sourish. Try it with a strong cheese!............

Deep red with semi-sweet, fresh cherry flavour. Refreshing, but far from the complexity of Girardin's or Boon's interpretations of the style.

Hazy gold with a med fluffy white head. Aroma is sweet and fruity - slight peach notes. Full tartness is nicely balanced by a sweet fruitiness. The peach flavor is itself mild. Med body, lightly fizzy. Great fruit lambic.

Rerate: It takes some time getting used to beer with an overwhelming taste of cherries, but dammit - this is GOOD! Sweet and sour cherries galore - but I like it. A nice change of pace - will buy again. I’m upping my rating a few points.
Original rating: I bought a bottle today purely out of curiousity. I willingly admit being prejudiced: My attitude is that if I want cherry juice, I buy cherry juice - and if I want beer (yes, I normally do!) then I buy beer. So how do I rate a combination of the two? The aroma was delicious, the flavour - well, it’s the best cherry soda I’ve ever had. But to call it a BEER??? - and worth the price? - nooo! However, REFRESHING is a relevant word.

Darker colour, medium-sourness and complexity. Good quaffing gueuze. Refreshing.
