Description
Welcome to the official page of the Lindemans family which has been brewing lambic since 1822. The family has owned a farm since the dawn of time. It was to occupy (and refresh) the peasants in winter that we began our brewing activity. With time and success, our agricultural activities decreased as our brewery developed.
As Darwin said, functions create organs. Today, we are once again expanding our brewery to share the love of our beers beyond our borders.

Bottle. 3.5% Berry aroma. Dark red colour, like fruit juice. Tastes like blackcurrant saftevand. Nice, but not very beery.

Bottle. 4% OK sour aroma. Dark golden colour, white head. The acidity is OK, but the flavour is way too sweet. A little mold, which suits the beer fine.

Test vom 15.11.2005, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,9,11,8,12,9 - 9,30

Thin, white head over hazy honey-coloured body. Deep aroma of peach with sharper, more acidic notes. Lovely taste combining peach and gueuze-like flavours with a dry, slightly stale finish. Very good.

Hazy orange-ochre colour; dense dirty-yellow head, rather stable leaving rings of lace. Overwhelming apple ester, already from decorking the bottle, going over in typical old-style sweet apple juice. Very slowly, the smell of Brett and wooden pipes emerges. Terrible start, but ending much better. Sweet applejuice with a tart background. Apple flavoured chewing gum. There is some sourness, but difficult to say whether it’s lactic or malonic. Not really unpleasant flavours, but unsatisfying, considering what real (crab)apples on lambic might be. Cloyingly sweet in the mouth, medium-dry retronasal, unbalanced. Better than feared, which makes it even more a shame. Dirk, this could be SO-O much better, if you want it.

Cloudy dark red, medium lasting pink head. Aroma of blackcurrant, quite penetrating. Taste is sweet, blackcurrant, carbonating. It just tastes like a cassis soda. Not complex at all.
