About
Welcome to the official page of the Lindemans family which has been brewing lambic since 1822. The family has owned a farm since the dawn of time. It was to occupy (and refresh) the peasants in winter that we began our brewing activity. With time and success, our agricultural activities decreased as our brewery developed.
As Darwin said, functions create organs. Today, we are once again expanding our brewery to share the love of our beers beyond our borders.

Amber beer with a warm sour aroma, and fruity sour fruit flavour with a warm finish. Overall a palatable gueuze.

Dark red colour, pinkish head, quite unregular. You can smell the sweet rasp-berry aroma even when not putting your nose above the glass. Begins sweet, ends sweet-soury. This is very typical the sister of the soda Kriek Lindemans.

Red color. Quite nice, sweet, strong cherry flavor and aroma; cherry kernels. A soft syrupy drink, but still enjoyable.

Amber-ochre; head first huge, rapidly dwindling to 0.5cm rim, lacy. Nose with molasses (!), mushrooms and faint citrus. Sweet taste, slightly acidic - composed of bits of sugar, horseblanket, citrus, pineapple, candi syrup, sweat (human - not horse), "Traubenzucker". Light to medium (the syrup) bodied. This would be one hell of a faro. But it's supposed to be gueuze, for Chrissakes!

Red like blood, pink head. Smells like some soda, or a cherry-juice. This is pure soda. This shouldn’t be called Kriek-LAMBIC. There are so many lambic-brewers that are working very hard to get a fabulous lambic and Kriek, but mostly they don’t get the recognition they should get. Actually in Belgium this Kriek Lindemans is the most known kriek, and because of that, everyone around here has a wrong impression of kriek, lambic, gueuze, etc. It is a shame.

Dark violet colour with a light purple head. Pure black currant aroma, very potent with that almost minty (wintergreen) aroma and a pungent tartness and sweetness. Medium to Light-bodied; Strong carbonation; Potent black currant flavour with a slight maltiness. Aftertaste tart and subtley sweet from the fruit. Overall, this is exactly like how I expected it to be. Maybe I'm a sucker for these fruity lambics, but I really enjoy them! Black currants truly make this one a treat. I bought this twelve ounce bottle at Beers of the World in Rochester, New York and sampled it on 02-November-2003.

Bottle. I like lambics, and I enjoyed this beer. It's red with a big pink head, has a string aroma of raspberries, and a very fruity taste that's slightly sour. Highly carbonated for a very big head.

Amber color. Prickly acetic nose in the beginning; turns to be sweeter and woodier. Quite sweet body, with a wood note. Not impressive, but pleasant sweet drink.

On Tap. Dark red. Strong raspberry aroma. Flavor is of raspberry and sweet, but the finish is a little sour. The first lambic I really liked.
