On tap. Pours an opaque dark brown, almost black with a small, creamy, short lived tan head that laces. Sweet aroma of caramel malt, dark chocolate, vanilla, earth and light coffee. Semi-sweet flavour of roasted malt, dark chocolate, earth, ash and stale coffee in a dry, mild bitter finish. Medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Not nearly as sweet as I thought it would be, which improves drinkability.

473ml can. Pours a slightly hazy blonde with a small, foamy, short lived, white head that laces. Aroma of pale malt, coffee and Belgian yeast. Sweet flavour of pale malt, Belgian yeast, apricot, vanilla and clove in a dry, mild bitter, coffee finish. Medium body with a creamy, smooth texture and soft carbonation. Tasty and enjoyable.

Hazy amber, beige head. Off putting tinniness in nose. Light sweet fore, big lasting bitter finish, medium alcohol heat. Needs more malt

Near black, medium head. Nice chocolatey character. Thick body with medium sweetness and finishes with roasty acidity and a fair bit of bitterness. Pretty robust.

Pale yellow. Not much head. Fairly fruit hop nose. Tropical and dank hop notes on the palate. Pretty clean and lean hops, actually not so much white character.

Cloudy with a medium head. Fairly bitter. Fresh grapefruit and maybe peach, papaya hop accents. Decent pale malt character and a touch of alcohol in the finish.

Hazy, kind of a bright electric yellow. Lots of passionfruit! Quite tart and juicy. Simple but effective.

This is the newer Kveik IPA. Cloudy orange, white head. Pleasant fruity nose. Somewhat dry fruity bitterness in finish. Full bodied with good lacing

Can found at Liberty Wine Merchants on Cambie. Pours with good foam and a semi-cloudy medium yellow body. Nice clean fruitiness on the nose, seems like passionfruit. Taste is tart passionfruit, very slight grain finish, but mostly just juice. ABV being low doesn't hinder, it's working pretty well.
