Pale with a medium haze. Medium head. Aroma is heavy hops, a bit wet and skunk cabbagey, and a touch of stone fruit in there. Medium bitterness. Lean pale malts allow that bitterness to shine. I may not be nuts about Strata's aromatics but everything else is solid in this one.

Medium clear gold body and okay foam. Sharp banana on the nose, good sweetness. Flavour is more banana, grain notes, lingering sugar. Simple but effective enough.

Foggy yellow bidy with modest foam, fruity sweet hop aroma. Flavour is hoppy mango, sharp grain, good crispness and oiliness. Easy and reasonably well made.

Quite highly hopped for a pale ale. Both bittered and late hops are strong, though body does balance it quite well. A bit harshly bitter though. Sk can

Salty, clean and a nice, but very obviously kettle soured. Artifical looking color. Coop sk

Super dry. Not much hot chocolate taste. More like bitterness from cacao nibs. Sk coop

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Cloudy blond colour, luminous. Nice hop character, citrus zest, passion fruit, well complemented by a mildly spicy and clean yeast. Moderate bitterness. To be noted, the last pour, with some sediment, starts being a bit dirty. Very good.

473ml can. Pours a slightly hazy copper with yeast particles in suspension and a large, fluffy, long lasting, off-white head that leaves thick patches of lace. Sweet aroma of caramel malt, orange peel, grapefruit, earthy yeast and piney hops. Sweet flavour of caramel malt, orange peel, grapefruit, earthy yeast and pine resin in a crisp, dry, bitter finish. Medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation. A solid old school IPA.

On tap at Ravens, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out straw, gentle dry hops, crackery notes, and floral notes.. Flavour is smooth and clean, with straw, rice, gentle floral hopping, and crackery notes. Clean and drinkable. Solid for what it is.

On tap at Ravens, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma is rather seltzery, with straw, biscuity malt, and a touch of grass. Flavour is fairly grassy, with some herbal notes, biscuity malt, and straw. A bit too crunchy and herbal, but it's pleasant enough.
