(473ml can from Sardines, Quebec City) Pours hazy bright yellow-gold with an average white cap and light lace. Notes of bright mango, fresh leaves, subtle weed, melon, orange and whtie grapefruit, with a light crackery malt base that contributes subtle sweetness and some cereals in the low to moderate bitterness leafy dank Mosaic-driven finish that carries a little mango and citrus peels into the aftertaste. Medium bodied with average plus carbonation and a smooth oaty mouthfeel. Nice one, not as expressive as their DIPAs or Bank Hotel but happy to finally try a HYPA can.

(473ml can from Sardines, Quebec City) Pours quite cloudy pale golden-orange with an average white head. Aroma of mango, strawberry, 'red' floral tropical fruit, plenty of coconut Sabro vibes, pink grapefruit, light dank weed, bright and tropical and juicy overall. Flavour is coconut, mango, floral tropical fruit, orange/grapefruit juice, light sweet brioche malt, strawberries in the mid-sip onwards, low bitterness, some fruit peels and grapefruit give subtle bitterness creep in the aftertaste, lingering coconut, very smooth, no burn or booze. Medium plus bodied, average carbonation, super nice hop profile here with the Sabro doing just enough and everything bright and fresh.

A hazed dark amber amber barley wine with a thin light mocha head. In aroma, loads of caramel malt, licorice, alcohol warmth, bourbon barrel, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet caramel malt with dark fruits, licorice, alcohol warmth, light woody bourbon, very nice. Bottle from brewery.
