Tap at Zil Verne.Hazy red with pinkish head. Aroma of red grapes, wood, funk. Taste, mainly portugal, funk, bayrnard, basement, wood. Tasty.

Fresh one: 4.9.2021 Draught at BeerGeek Bar. Vintage 2020. Cloudy, reddish colored. AROMA- sour, a bit sharp, a bit funky, touch of leather, vinous, plum, cherry, herbal leaves. FLAVOR- dry, sour, lightly bitter, red wine, sour cherry, leather. Medium bodied. Very tasty. Close to Flanders Red. 9,3,8,3,14 = 3.7 Aged one: 28.8.2024 Bottle 0.75l from our archive, almost four years aged. Vintage 2020. Clear, gold to red colored. AROMA- sharp, touch of brine, raspberry, plum, cherry, dark grapes. FLAVOR- neutral to dry, quite sour, slightly bitter, quite sharp, raspberry, mirabelle, dark grapes, sweeter at the bottom, more raspberries, touch of leather. Medium bodied. Very good. 8,3,9,4,15 = 3.9

Tap at Zil Verne. Red color with white head. Red and Black currant in aroma with light funk. Taste, currants, light funk, wood, vinous notes, funk, Light bodied, tasty.

Bottle at a WC tasting at Zil verne. Grape combination Svatovavrinecke + Merlot. Weird cheesy and butyric aroma, also slightly in flavour. Med-thin body, med-light sweetness, medium sourness, light tartness. Also medium dark grape character. Good, might get better later, is pretty fresh apparently.

Bottle at a WC tasting at Zil verne. Quite dry, with med-med-high sourness, but also moderate tanninish tartness. Also light acetone. Loads of sour cherries though, throughout and long into the finish. Very pleasant, tasty, very good.

Bottle at a WC tasting at Zil verne. Thin body, medium carbonation. Very fruit centered, the modry portugal grapes also imparting general red berry character. Light acetone present. Otherwise medium sourness, light tartness. Still easy drinking, pretty good.

Bottle at a WC tasting at Zil verne. Quite thin, feels a bit watery, med-high carbonation. Med-high sourness, light aetic, but also hints of butyric. Mostly a pleasant character though. Med-light funk, feels restrained in a beer like this. Moderate currant fruitiness is the center of the overall character. Finishes with a hint of acetone. Easy drinking, quite good.

Bottle at a WC tasting at Zil verne. Rather thin body, rather high carbonation. Med-high sourness, but very pleasant rounded character, a touch of acetic, bit I mostly get rich fruity character, berries, grapes. Also assertive med-high barnyard, clean funk. Very easy drinking, tasty, great.
