Description
Brewery Martens has been in business for 260 years. Throughout our rich history, which remains embedded in our native town of Bocholt to this very day, the brewery has always remained in hands of the Martens family. Yet, while we put great store by our family history, all eight generations of the Martens family have also continuously been driven by innovation and state-of-the-art processes, which is what has made us into one of the most modern and innovative breweries in the country today.

Plastic bottle, brewed and bottled in Belgium for an Italian company). Golden colour with small white bubblyish-foamy head. Aroma is metal, hay, harsh hops and some malts. Flavour is rubber, metal, hay and slight malts. Not very clean, and not very pleasant either...

Bottle, Sainsburys Kidlington. Gold in colour, large white fluffy head, sweet, some hops and malt but ultimately very forgettable.

(50 cl can) Clear golden color, small white head. Grassy malty scent, with a touch of raw meat and protein drinks. Wery thin very metallic and bloody taste. Thin and spritzy mouthfeel, low bitterness. Long not pleasant lingering metallic aftertaste.

Bottle: Poured and amber color with carbonated white head. Aroma was a bit sweet and fruity. The flavor was slightly fruity and sweet, but finished just bitter enough to tease the palate.

Can. Pours a clear golden colour with a longlasting white head. Sweet malty, grassy aroma. Sweet malty watery thin grassy flavor. Sweet malty finish with no bitterness.

Plastic bottle, 2.5%. Green/yellow colour. The flavour is mostly like lemonade, but less sweet. Has a good balance with lemon and beer bitterness.
