Description
Brewery Martens has been in business for 260 years. Throughout our rich history, which remains embedded in our native town of Bocholt to this very day, the brewery has always remained in hands of the Martens family. Yet, while we put great store by our family history, all eight generations of the Martens family have also continuously been driven by innovation and state-of-the-art processes, which is what has made us into one of the most modern and innovative breweries in the country today.

Lattina.

Brewed for Fun Brands SRL, but sell also by TRENDY FOODS BELGIUM S.A.
0,5l can from Carrefour market Shopping Woluwe.
F: thin, off-pink, quick gone.
C: red coppery, light hazy.
A: artificial cherries, elderberry, apples.
T: sweet syrupy cherries with some pieces from the aroma, harsh bitterness, soft carbonation, some fusel alcohol, this Haka brand is already for almost two years in Belgium so apparently there are still someone who buys it.

2/I/25 - 25cl bottle from Dranken Marlou (Zonhoven), shared @ my parents’ place, BB: XI/2024, L216 17:40 (2025-5)
Clear bright to deep red beer, creamy dense off-white head, a little stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very intense cherry aroma, cherry flavoured candy, a hint of marzipan, a bit artificial. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: lots of cherry, cherry flavoured candy, soft acidity, a little bitter, but mainly very sugary with a metallic touch. Aftertaste: fruity, more artificial cherry flavoured candy, a bit metallic, little bitter, sugary finish, ok, not the worst sugary Belgian cherry beer I’ve ever had, but not really good either.
